Saint Eftychios

This religious monument includes a modern church that has been erected right next to an ancient, underground carved chapel. The original space of worship is located within the soft limestone and hosts a stone sarcophagus, which is considered the tomb of the local ascetic. The newer structure follows the traditional lines of the area, bearing a red dome and facing of Cypriot stone. The space offers a quiet refuge for individual prayer and spiritual contemplation at the outskirts of the settlement.
