Saint Ermogenis

In the plain of ancient Kourion and at a very short distance from the eponymous beach is located the historic chapel of Saint Hermogenes. This stone-built structure consists of two aisles and bears a traditional vaulted roof with particularly thick walls. In the interior of the church is kept the tomb of the eponymous saint, whose relic is considered miraculous, while the forecourt is a meeting point for many of the faithful during the great annual festival.
