Saint George Frankos (Ruins)

An isolated medieval structure with special historical value, which is located on the northern slopes of the Pentadaktylos mountain range, very close to the administrative boundaries of the village. The church bears the appellation Frangos (Frank), a fact that testifies to its connection with the period of Lusignan rule on the island. Because of the events of nineteen seventy-four, the stone structure has been completely abandoned to its fate, presenting a picture of advanced ruin. Today it remains completely without services and inaccessible for the free attendance of the displaced faithful.
