Saint George Ftochos

This small chapel, also known as Ais-Giorkis the Poor, is located in the area of Rizoelia to the west of the Municipality of Aradippou. The church is built in a location where in antiquity there was a settlement, which was completely destroyed by raids of the Saracens. In its interior, rare Byzantine icons of the Venetian period were formerly preserved, while today the space functions mainly on festal occasions, being a quiet and picturesque refuge of prayer for the faithful.
