Saint George Mammari (Palaia eklisia)

This historic church dominates the central square of the community and is built with the renowned local stone "pouropetra" from the nearby quarries. Its interior is adorned with a unique wood-carved iconostasis of the nineteenth century, as well as an imposing women's gallery. Despite the erection of the new church, this old church preserves its devotion and operates regularly, being the most important historic monument of the area.
