Saint George

The picturesque chapel of Saint George is built north of the village of Foini, isolated on a pine-covered mountain slope of the Troodos mountain range. Its erection was completed in 2002 at the expense of the community itself, on a plot of land that was ceded by the then community leader. It is a small brick-built church with a modern style, which stands out from afar for its pure-white exterior walls and its red tiled roof.
