Saint George

At the southern edge of the community of Gerasa, built upon the main road on a large plot, dominates the church of Saint George. Its construction began in 1907 and was completed a decade later, with the residents transporting the materials themselves. The church is a single-aisled basilica with a pointed central arch and groin vaults, elements that highlight the ecclesiastical architecture of that era.
