Saint George

The small little church of Saint George Perachoritis is located at the northeastern edge of Kakopetria, built under a large bridge in the area "Pera Geitonia." It is a single-aisled wooden-roofed church with exterior stonework of local stone, which dates to the early 16th century. Its interior was originally fully covered with wall paintings, of which today few samples survive owing to the wear from time.
