Saint George

This imposing church is the central and parish church of the community of Koilineia in the Paphos district. Its erection was completed in the mid-1950s with the use of local stone, replacing an older and smaller church that could not cover the needs of the residents. The structure dominates the center of the village and is the religious and social focal point for the community. The memory of the patron Saint George is honored festively every year on the 23rd of April with a large attendance of the faithful.
