Saint George

This small and picturesque chapel is built along the road network that leads toward Kato Pyrgos Tyllirias. Its structure is characterized by a plain architectural type with white plastered walls and a traditional tiled roof that harmonizes with the wild natural beauty of the borderland area. Owing to its limited dimensions, the church is used mainly as a station for individual prayer and the lighting of candles by the passing drivers and pilgrims.
