Saint George

This small and simple chapel is built in the periphery of Poli Chrysochous in the Paphos district, being dedicated to Saint George. The structure faithfully follows the simple lines of the local church building of the Cypriot countryside with plain exterior masonry. Owing to its limited dimensions, the church functions mainly as a quiet station for individual prayer and the lighting of candles by the residents and the passing pilgrims of the area.
