Saint Konon

This church is the second largest church in Kissonerga of Paphos and is dedicated to Saint Konon. It was erected in 1987 next to a smaller, old chapel, while its official inauguration was celebrated a year later. In the interior of this magnificent structure is kept as a precious relic the skull of the Saint, which was transferred there from the Holy Monastery of Chrysorrogiatissa. The community honors festively the memory of its protector every year on the 5th of March, gathering crowds of the faithful from the entire district.
