Saint Leontios

This historic church is dedicated to the protector and patron saint of the community of Pervolia, Saint Leontios. Architecturally it is a single-aisled vaulted church, which received a later extension to its west in order to serve the faithful better. In its interior it preserves precious samples of old wall paintings, such as those of Saints Cosmas and Damian. The structure is complemented by a distinctive Venetian-style bell tower and borders the old cemetery of the area.
