Saint Marina, Mirmikofou

At the site of the old and abandoned settlement of Myrmikofou, near the community of Pelathousa of Paphos, are located the medieval ruins of the church of Saint Marina. The stone structure has suffered total collapse from the passage of the centuries, with the result that now only low sections of its original masonry survive within the wild vegetation of the countryside. The space lacks a roof and is not functional for the celebration of Christian sacraments, being a silent archaeological remnant of the area.
