Saint Marina Thavmatourgi

The historic Byzantine church of Saint Marina the Miracle-Worker is located in the center of the community of Filousa Kelokedaron in the Paphos district and is the oldest structure of the area. The church is world-famous as it housed the double-sided icon of Saint Marina and Saint George, which dates between the 7th and 8th centuries and is counted among the ten oldest surviving icons in the world. The structure has been restored by the Department of Antiquities, presenting particular architectural interest owing to a characteristic tilt that one of its sides has taken.
