Saint Marina

This modern church is built in the borderland community of the Nicosia district, very close to the dead zone. Its erection was carried out to replace the old historic little church of Saint Marina, which had suffered complete destruction during the period of Ottoman rule. The structure follows the classical Byzantine lines and functions as a spiritual harbor and point of reference for the few residents of the area.
