Saint Mark

This particular holy chapel is located within the community of Giolou in the Paphos district, on the eponymous street. Its erection began in 2011 and its official inauguration took place in November 2012 by the Bishop of Arsinoe. The church is built upon the foundations of an older eponymous church, while in an adjacent location a cave was recently discovered that is presumed to have also functioned as a place of worship in the past.
