Saint Menas

This historic and central church is built in the central square of the Municipality of Geri. The need for its erection arose in the early 20th century owing to the rapid increase of the area's population, which was no longer covered by the older church of the Panagia. The church is dedicated to the Holy Great Martyr Menas the Egyptian and is a spiritual point of reference for the community. Today it operates normally, hosting all the official religious services, as well as joyous social sacraments.
