Saint Nektarios

This magnificent church is located in the Platy area of Aglantzia, right in front of the eponymous philanthropic foundation. Its erection was completed in the early 1990s thanks to the efforts of the faithful and the contribution of the well-known priest Father Stavros Papagathangelou. Originally, the religious needs of the community were covered in an interior hall of the old people's home where nuns offered their services. Today, the church operates normally and hosts both the daily services of the residents and various social sacraments of the parish.
