Saint Nicholas

A traditional residential church with great emotional and historical value that was the religious center of this small village. It is built on the southern side of the Kyrenia mountain range, within a calm rural landscape. Unfortunately, after the events of nineteen seventy-four and the violent displacement of its Greek-Cypriot residents, the building completely changed use and was converted into a Muslim mosque. Today it remains completely inaccessible for the worship needs of the displaced community, being a silent monument to the alteration of the religious heritage of the area.
