Saint Nicholas

This imposing parish church dominates the heart of the mountainous settlement and is the central worship core of the community. It is a traditional structure with a characteristic wooden gabled roof and tiles, built with local stone of Pitsilia. Its interior is particularly devout, hosting a wood-carved iconostasis of excellent craftsmanship of the 19th century and precious historic icons that are honored with reverence by the residents.
