Saint Paraskevi

This small and isolated chapel is located in the wider mountainous area of the community of Alithinou in Pitsilia, complementing the few worship spaces of the village. It is a plain, single-aisled construction with traditional materials of the area, hidden within the wild nature of Troodos. The church functions mainly on the day of the feast of Saint Paraskevi, offering moments of absolute religious devotion to the pilgrims. Owing to its extremely small dimensions and its difficult-to-access location, the space is not used for the celebration of social sacraments.
