Saint Paraskevi

This small church is located in the mountainous village of Livadia in Pitsilia and is the religious focal point of the community. It is a stone-built construction with the characteristic wooden-roofed tiled roof of the wider Troodos area, which fully harmonizes with the rugged mountainous relief. Its interior preserves a plain, traditional structure that creates an intensely devout atmosphere for the faithful. Owing to its unique picturesqueness and the surrounding landscape, the church gathers the interest of many visitors, especially on the day of the annual feast of the Saint.
