Saint Raphael and Nicholas and Irene

This picturesque little church is positioned on the northern side of Aradippou, along the road that leads to the village of Avdellero, about one kilometer away from the central church of the Apostle Luke. Its erection took place in 1996 on the initiative and at the expense of Loukas S. Grigoriou and his relatives, who chose to build it within their own land. The chapel is dedicated to the memory of Saints Raphael, Nicholas, and Irene, being the realization of a sacred promise (vow) of the family. This act was done as a sign of gratitude toward the Saints, after a very serious injury that their child had in an accident, whose gradual and successful recovery was considered a miracle of these particular Saints.
