Saint Theodore

The church of Saint Theodore the Tyron, built on a small hill in the center of the community, began to be erected in 1956 and was completed in 1970, on the site of an older church of 1847. From the old church only the wall painting of Saint Theodore survives. The present church is a three-aisled basilica with a cruciform dome, tall columns, a wooden iconostasis, and three entrances. The women's gallery is on the western side, while the church is being painted with wall paintings gradually in recent years.
