Saint Trifonos

The Holy Church of Saint Tryphon dominates the center of the community of Steni in the Paphos district. The present church was built in the early twentieth century through the collective and voluntary labor of the residents, replacing the older small structure that had been completely destroyed by fire. The building stands out in the area for its impressive and elaborate bell tower, which is constructed entirely of hewn hard stone.
