Saint Vichianos Chapel

The small chapel of Saint Vichianos is located in the rural area of Prasteio to the west of Ypsonas. It was built at the end of the 1960s with the resources of the residents and presents a distinctive Gothic architectural style with whitewashed walls and a tiled roof. In its plain interior dominates a modern wall painting that depicts the Saint healing a child, as according to local tradition he is considered a protector for those who suffer from asthma and intense cough.
