Saint Vryaini

This picturesque and isolated seaside chapel is built upon a small hill to the south of the community of Mandria in Paphos. It is the only church in the world that is dedicated to the Cypriot Saint Vryaini, and it was rebuilt in 1986 by a refugee family upon the ruins of an earlier destroyed structure. Its location offers an impressive and unobstructed view toward the open sea, attracting crowds of pilgrims who arrive for the great annual festival at the end of August.
