Skete of Resurrection of the Saviour

A few kilometres outside the village of Vouni in mountainous Limassol, surrounded by rich vineyards, lies the Holy Skete of the Resurrection of the Saviour. This small monastic refuge was founded during the twentieth century by the monk Damaskinos, who built the space with his own hands. The complex offers a unique experience of absolute calm to visitors, while it became more widely known when it remained completely untouched by a catastrophic fire that surrounded the area.
