Small Church of Saint George, Akamas

This small and isolated chapel is built in the wild nature of the Akamas peninsula, within the administrative boundaries of Neo Chorio of Paphos. Its plain construction fully harmonizes with the pristine natural environment of the area, offering a quiet refuge for the hikers and the pilgrims. Owing to its location and its limited interior space, it functions mainly as a station for individual prayer and the lighting of candles, gazing at the vast blue.
