Transfiguration of the Saviour

The Holy Church of the Transfiguration of the Saviour is the central and imposing church of the community of Kato Moni in the Nicosia district. It is built in the heart of the village, preserving elements that harmonise with the local folk architecture. The church falls under the ecclesiastical district of the Holy Metropolis of Tamassos and Oreini and gathers the interest of crowds of faithful during its annual festival on 6 August.
