SAINT CATHERINE TALA

The medieval church of Saint Catherine is located in the centre of the community of Tala in the Paphos district and now functions as an ecclesiastical museum. It is a historic building of the fifteenth century, which was originally vaulted and later was extended acquiring its present single-aisled form with a dome. In its interior space precious religious relics are housed, icons of exceptional historical value and ecclesiastical vessels of past centuries.
