SAINT IRENE

The Holy Church of Saint Irene is the central and historic church of the community of Timi in the Paphos district. It is a large, traditional stone building of basilica style that dominates the centre of the village, very close to Paphos airport. The church has served through the ages all the worship needs of the residents of the area, while it celebrates with full ceremony and religious reverence during the annual feast of the Holy Great Martyr Irene on 5 May.
