SAINT ELIZABETH

Three kilometres south of the village is the chapel of Saint Elizabeth, a small stone-built basilica of the 16th century, built upon an earlier church. It stands out for the well-preserved wall paintings of the 16th century that cover the interior and for its simple architecture with a pitched tiled roof. The chapel holds its festival on Bright Tuesday, while near it is the holy water spring of Saint Elizabeth.
