SAINT THEKLA

This emblematic church is the central Metropolitan pole of Limassol and is more widely known to the locals as “Katholiki”. It is built on the basis of the plan of the three-aisled cruciform basilica with a dome, replacing an earlier building that was demolished in the 1950s. Its interior is adorned with impressive, completed icon paintings and multicoloured marbles, while externally its two large bell towers stand out
