SAINT MARINA OF THE MARONITES

This distinctive parish church was created immediately after the events of 1974 to serve the religious needs of the displaced Maronites from the village of Agia Marina Skylloura who took refuge in Limassol. The housing of the church was achieved in an original way, as it came about after the radical renovation, adaptation and conversion of an old cinema building of the area. The church functions as a spiritual and social centre for the refugee community, keeping alive their traditions and their religious identity
