SAINT MARINA

This is an old and historic church which today survives in a ruined condition in the community of Kofinou in the Larnaca district. The church is an important remnant of the medieval and Byzantine heritage of the area, attesting to the long-standing Christian presence in the village before the demographic changes of more recent times. From time to time, the site draws the interest of the faithful and of the displaced, who organise devotional vespers there amid the ruins in order to honour the memory of the Great Martyr.
