SAINT MARINA

This is the main and extremely protected church of the community of Odou, which has been officially declared an ancient monument by the Department of Antiquities of Cyprus. The church follows the rare type of the single-chamber timber-roofed basilica and is distinguished for its impressive traditional stonework that harmonises fully with the mountain landscape. In its interior priceless religious relics are kept, among which the historic miraculous icon of Saint Marina stands out, dating to the end of the 17th century
