SAINT PARASKEVI

This historic church is the central parish of the Germasogeia area in Limassol and was built at the beginning of the twentieth century upon the ruins of an earlier building. Architecturally it follows the type of the single-aisled basilica, incorporating strong elements of Gothic influence and covering with traditional groin vaults. Its interior is particularly spacious, decorated with ornate wall paintings on the dome and an imposing chandelier, while it borders directly on the local Cultural Centre
