HOLY SAVIOUR

The Holy Church of the Transfiguration of the Saviour is the central parish church of the community of Kampia in the Nicosia district. The building comes ecclesiastically under the district of the Holy Metropolis of Tamassos and Oreini and is the core of the religious events of the area. The church celebrates with particular devotion and splendour every year on 6 August, attracting crowds of faithful from the surrounding communities for the established feast of the Transfiguration.
