SAINT GEORGE (LARGE CHURCH)

This church is the newly built central church of the community and was constructed following coordinated efforts by the local authorities. The erection works lasted four years, while the first official divine liturgy was celebrated in its interior a few days before the feast of Easter. The official inauguration took place in the autumn of the same year by the Archbishop of Cyprus, making the church the focal point of the religious life of the residents.
