SAINT GEORGE OF DASOUS
This distinctive church is hidden within the dense pine forest of the mountain range, at a very short distance from the central square of Troodos and next to the British military installations. It was built by the English during the period of colonial rule and follows faithfully the architectural models of Anglican churches, using the characteristic local stone of the area. The building stands out for its plainness, the symmetrical large windows on all four of its sides, as well as for an elegant bell tower that dominates its western side, serving to this day the religious needs of Christians and frequently hosting holy sacraments
