SAINT GEORGE FRANKOS (RUINS)
An isolated medieval building of particular historical value, which is located on the northern slopes of the Pentadaktylos mountain range, very close to the administrative boundaries of the village. The church bears the epithet Frangos, a fact that testifies to its connection with the period of Lusignan rule on the island. Owing to the events of nineteen seventy-four, the stone building has been completely abandoned to its fate, presenting a picture of advanced ruin. Today it remains entirely without services and inaccessible for the free attendance of the displaced faithful.
