SAINT GEORGE

This small, stone-built chapel is nestled among pines and cypresses in the mountainous area of Limassol, directly opposite the local winery. Its structure is a faithful architectural copy of the old church of Saint George Athrakou, which was located in a now abandoned settlement. The building follows the traditional type of the single-aisled basilica with a wooden tiled roof and has been constructed entirely with authentic stone that was collected from the surrounding mountain area
