SAINT GEORGE

This historic church is located in the heart of the mountain village of Lemythou in the Limassol district and is an important religious monument of the area. It is a stone building that follows the traditional architectural type of the mountain churches of Troodos, fully harmonised with the natural environment. Its interior is adorned with a noteworthy wood-carved iconostasis and old icons of great historical value. It functions as a devotional place of worship that gathers the residents and also many expatriates of the village
