SAINT GEORGE

This small and isolated religious structure is built in the countryside of the abandoned community of Loukrounou in the Paphos district, up a steep hill just off the main B7 road. The chapel is dedicated to Saint George and offers an environment of absolute seclusion and tranquillity within the nature of the valley. Owing to its very small dimensions and its deserted location, it is used mainly for individual pilgrimage and the lighting of candles by passing drivers and faithful of the area.
