SAINT GEORGE

This small and picturesque chapel is built along the road network that leads towards Kato Pyrgos Tillirias. Its structure is characterised by a plain architectural type with white plastered walls and a traditional tiled roof that harmonises with the wild natural beauty of the frontier area. Owing to its limited dimensions, the church is used mainly as a stop for private prayer and the lighting of candles by passing drivers and pilgrims.
