SAINT EPIPHANIOS

In the wider area of Akamas, near the community of Neo Chorio in Paphos, are found the ruined remains of the old church that was dedicated to Saint Epiphanios. The original religious structure was completely destroyed with the passage of time, leaving behind only a few traces of masonry within the wild natural vegetation of the peninsula. As the site is entirely levelled and non-functional, the residents of the area have erected a new small shrine at the spot for the preservation of the historical memory of the Saint.
