SAINT ERMOGENIS

On the plain of ancient Kourion and at a very short distance from the homonymous shore is the historic chapel of Saint Hermogenes. This stone-built building consists of two aisles and bears a traditional vaulted roof with particularly thick walls. In the interior of the church the tomb of the homonymous saint is kept, whose relic is considered miraculous, while the forecourt is a meeting point for many faithful during the great annual festival
