SAINT JOHN THE THEOLOGIAN

This small church is located in the centre of the almost abandoned settlement of the Solea area. It is a rectangular, single-aisled timber-roofed building, which represents perfectly the traditional church construction of the Metropolitan district of Morphou. The building underwent comprehensive restoration by the Department of Antiquities at the end of the previous century, preserving the authentic religious heritage of the place.
